Step 1 : Students who have already appeared or are appearing in +2 (with tops of Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are required to have an appearance in a Medical Entrance Tests, organized by the various State and independent courses such as PMT, taken by Punjab Government and AIPMT (Pre Medical Test) taken by the CBSE to accept people in different medical institutions under it. Some of the highly rated medical institutions such as AIIMS, PGI, GMCH, AFMC Pune etc. conduct a separate test. These are the exams that are typically conducted in the month of May-June.

Step 2 : Once this four and half year degree course of MBBS has been completed and a year and six months elapse, there is mandatory training which one has to undergo M.S.(ENT).

  • Potential MBBS physicians must come out in Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exams such as-
  • All India Postgraduate Medical/Dental entrance examination.
  • Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research Entrance Exam.
  • But at the same time, certain institutes will also admit people on the basis of marks obtained in MBBS course and work experience of the hopefuls.

Step 3 : Having completed their due specialization courses i.e. M.S.(ENT) and successful registration by Medical Council of India the upcoming ENT Specialist Surgeons have the option of working in a reputed Government and Private Hospitals such as AIIMS etc. ENT Specialist and good entrepreneurial expertise ENT Specialist may also open his/her Clinic and offer services to the patients.
